Mrs. White,
As the semester is winding down I just want to say I have enjoyed your class. Despite the fact that I struggle to keep up, I really feel like I have learned more in this class than any other. You are an amazing teacher and an inspiring role model. I love that you are passionate about your work. Thanks for all the effort you have put in this semester; it hasnt gone unnoticed.

  1. I completely agree with you Elias!! It has been a hard semester for me and I think your the only teacher that actually realizes that we do have other classes other than your own! I am truly greatful that you are more concerned about us learning than us just doing written work! I learn so much better in a relax enviroment and you have taught me so much! Thanks!

  4. More than anything I want you to be physically and emotionally HEALTHY! Secondly, I want you to know I CARE!! Third, I want you to LEARN! Finally, I want you to get the grade you want and need for your financial situation and to meet the expectations of the significant people in your lives.

    You're right. I'm NOT PLAYIN!

The end of this semester has had some BUMPS for me. I've not encountered the challenges professionally like I have this semester. I'm LEARNING and GROWING with the rest of you. I WILL choose to become a BETTER instructor for the things students have taught me. It's my desire each of you will become better students and professionals in the future for having shared this experience with me as well.

  5. It has been a HARD semester for me with MANY BUMPS, it is like one of those you try to get over, but can't. I have struggled to understand and keep up as well! Seems the harder I try, it just doesn't come together.

  6. I agree with everything said here. It is nice to see that teachers can be as passionate about their work as you are. Thank you so much for being a great teacher to us! I do not regret taking two of your classes this semester! :)

  7. I have also really enjoyed this class and have struggled as well. I have learned a lot in this class and it has really made me think about and analyze how and what I teach my current students. I have found that we continue learning no matter how many classes we have taken or PD's we have attended!

  8. I agree with Carol. I have had many great challenges in this class. I have struggled to understand and keep up. No matter how hard I try, it doesn't seem to come together. This has truly frustrated me because I know the importance of this information and I want to get it. However, I seem to keep missing the mark.

  9. Never before this semester would I have believed my favorite class would be a night class. Your class has put me through every emotion, especially last Thursday. I appreciate so much the effort you put into finding different sources to give us information and examples to see how real life everything we are learning is. I showed my dad (who is a doctor) the HBOT brain injury video on youtube that you shared with us in class; the one that just about made me cry. He was so intrigued and it inspired him to see if it is a possibility to try it with an 18 year old patient of his that is comatose. If he does get a chance to try it I will keep you posted on if it works. Either way, thank you so much for showing me this because now there is a possibility that a young man with so much of his life ahead of him could be saved from a life in a coma. You are an amazing teacher and have had such an impact on my life in these last 4 short (sometimes felt longer) months.

  11. I have a friend that has twin boys and are Autistic, she takes then 5 days a week with 2 off. The HBOT treatment is an 8 week session, I think the boys are a little calmer than they were before they started this treatment.

  12. Mrs. White, as everyone else has said, I would have to agree that you are an amazing, passionate and loving teacher who truly cares about her students. From the first night of class, I knew I would love everything about it. Although I have struggled with this class (the language project), I have enjoyed every second of it! Between your lectures, which are very inspirational, and the stories you share with us, you are by far one of my favorite professors I have had here at Eastern! I only hope that I will be as passionate about my students as you are with yours! A few of my friends have also had you in the past, and they have nothing but GREAT things to say about you, especially Whitney Low. She loves you to death, and she told me that before this class even started. Now I know why! :) Thanks for a great class! You have really shown me what it means to be a wonderful teacher!
